Ève Beaumont-Cousineau joined the Chevalier Morales team in 2016 after completing her master’s degree from Université de Montréal. With a diverse range of experiences collected over the years, she quickly advanced to project manager and became a partner in 2023. Ève enjoys tackling projects of all scales, from small ceiling replacements to large new library developments. Her relentless pursuit of perfection drives her to address both technical and conceptual challenges while also sharpening her curiosity at every turn. Ève has also infused her personal touch into several architectural competition proposals submitted by the firm. Additionally, she takes pride in enhancing the workplace culture, notably through having established the vibrant social committee for BOOM! and in creating Chevalier Morales' internal newsletter.

Olga graduated with distinction from McGill University in 2011 and has since worked on a diverse array of projects, ranging from public art installations to complex institutional works.

Rebecca completed her university studies at Université Laval in the spring of 2024 and has been back with our team ever since. Concerned by the social and environmental issues of architecture, she became interested in the requalification of vacant industrial buildings into social housing as part of her final year of study. Dedicated and very involved during her 5 years of study, she enjoys taking part in the organization of the office's social activities. She develops her skills by participating in all project stages, and particularly enjoys the dynamism of a construction site. Rebecca completed her university studies at Université Laval in the spring of 2024 and has joined Chevalier Morales since.

Passionate about the social and environmental challenges in architecture, she focused her final year of university on vacant industrial buildings tinto social housing. Dedicated and very involved during her 5 years of study, she is involved the firm's social activities organization. She actively participates in all stages of a project, relishing the dynamic environment construction site supervision as she continues to develop her skills.

Samuel began his career in architectural technology and product design at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, where his thesis focused on community appropriation and adaptation of the built environment. Captivated by the possibilities of wood construction, he traveled to Norway to study traditional techniques that date back to the 13th century. Throughout his career, Samuel has supervised numerous building projects and architectural installations, fostering a deep understanding of the value of camaraderie and teamwork. Sergio Morales co-founded Chevalier Morales in 2005, alongside Stephan Chevalier. Under their leadership, the firm has garnered recognition in over twenty national and international architectural competitions and projects, including notable works such as the Saul-Bellow Library in Lachine, the Maison de la littérature in Quebec City, the Drummondville and Pierrefonds libraries in Montreal, the Agora des Arts in Rouyn-Noranda, and the newly designed Beaconsfield Cultural Centre. Sergio plays a crucial role as a manager, a technical resource, and a designer in various projects spanning the cultural, educational, and residential sectors.

As a guest lecturer and critic, he has shared his expertise at various architecture schools in Montreal, Quebec City, Ottawa, and Cornell University. For nearly twenty years, he has been a respected instructor of design workshops in the master's program at the Université de Montréal, and he still contributes to the program through the studies committee. Sergio is frequently invited to lecture, exhibit, and publish the firm’s work in Canada and internationally. He has also served as a jury member for several architectural awards, including the Prix du Design of the City of Montreal and the Research and Innovation Awards of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada.

Active in the architecture field in Montreal since 2012, Simon Lalonde-Charbonneau joined the Chevalier Morales team in 2017, where he focuses on cultural, residential, and institutional projects, including schools, in collaboration with various school boards. He has played a key role in several major architectural competitions, contributing to finalist and winning entries such as the Gabrielle-Roy Library in Quebec City and the Maisonneuve Library in Montreal. Known for his exceptional communication and project coordination skills, he is valued for his dedication and meticulous attention to detail. Simon believes that architecture gains meaning by encapsulating the collective memory of a place, enriching the experience it creates for its users.

Stephan Chevalier co-founded the Chevalier Morales in 2005 alongside Sergio Morales. Since its inception, the firm has received recognition in over twenty national and international architectural competitions, with notable projects including the Saul-Bellow Library in Lachine, the Maison de la littérature in Quebec City, the Drummondville and Pierrefonds libraries in Montreal, the Agora des Arts concert hall in Rouyn-Noranda, and most recently, the Beaconsfield Cultural Center. Stephan is currently co-designing the new Saskatoon Central Library.

Regularly invited to lecture, exhibit, and publish the firm’s work both nationally and internationally, Stephan has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Association des Architectes en pratique privée du Québec since 2017. He has also participated as a jury member for numerous architectural competitions and awards, including the Canada Council's Prix de Rome, the Prix de la relève en architecture, and the Gold Medal of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada.

Trevor Davies has established a remarkable career overseeing major institutional projects across Canada. As a project manager and senior partner at Chevalier Morales, he is integral to every phase of a project, leveraging his expertise and exceptional organizational skills. His diverse background in design, coordination, and team leadership provides him with a deep understanding of the complexities involved in developing large-scale institutional projects. With over 25 years of experience, Trevor’s strong organizational acumen, mastery of integrated design processes, and skillful management of all project phases make him an indispensable member of our team.

Xavier Proulx brings a unique combination of architecture and engineering training, along with 11 years of experience at Chevalier Morales. Specializing in the redevelopment and refurbishment of existing buildings, he has gained a deep understanding of the technical challenges these projects present, especially in navigating the various codes and standards involved. To enhance his technical expertise, Xavier recently completed a course in specification writing with Construction Specifications Canada (CSC) and is pursuing CSC Certified Specification Practitioner certification in the near future. His commitment to continuous learning and excellence makes him a vital asset to the team.

A recent graduate of Université Laval's master's program in architecture, Xavier has enhanced his academic foundation with valuable experiences abroad. With a passion for art, he views architecture as a medium for translating ideas into space - a response to both the material and immaterial individual and contextual needs. For Xavier, mastering representation tools is an extension of his artistic language, allowing him to convey his vision and that of his clients with clarity and eloquence. His international experiences have cultivated a profound sensitivity and dedication to his craft. Yara holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the American University of Beirut and a master's degree in High Performance Buildings from the University of British Columbia. These qualifications have enabled her to blend technical expertise with business strategy, strengthening her ability to lead complex and innovative projects. Her professional experience spans diverse cultural and geographical contexts, including Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Vancouver, and Montreal. In Canada, Yara has worked closely with Indigenous communities, contributing to projects that prioritize local needs and create inclusive spaces that honor cultural identities. Passionate about regenerative architecture, Yara is dedicated to designing buildings that are deeply rooted in their context.
