New Offices for Fondaction
2024.08.15
On January 16, 2024, Fondaction inaugurated its new offices in the Ville-Marie borough of Montreal. Chevalier Morales, the architects behind the renovation of Fondaction's headquarters, were present to mark this significant milestone for the québecois company. The new offices are designed around contemporary principles of collaborative and dynamic work. Influenced by the company’s remote work policy, the design fosters a “future-ready” workspace where modular and unassigned workstations offer employees the flexibility to work comfortably and adapt to their hybrid schedules. The building is intended to serve both as a headquarters and a creative hub for sustainable finance.
Fondaction has been actively engaged in the neighborhood for over 25 years, making this building an integral part of the surrounding community. This commitment has been embraced by Fondaction's leadership, who prioritized transparency and integration by incorporating publicly accessible and community-oriented spaces on the ground floor. The ground floor features a video and audio recording studio, a community workshop, and four meeting rooms for gatherings.
Constructed with a strong focus on environmentally friendly and sustainable development principles, the new headquarters include enhanced energy recovery systems for fresh air, refrigerant management aligned with LEED standards, automatic lighting control based on occupancy detection, and the integration of energy-efficient LED fixtures. These elements are only a few amongst the range of innovative features that significantly enhance the building’s energy performance.
In closing, Chevalier Morales extends heartfelt congratulations to the entire Fondaction team on the opening of their exemplary new workspace, reflecting their unwavering commitment to sustainable development and energy efficiency.
