Beyond a simple renovation, Fondaction's Head Office redesign inspires a profound reflection on how to adapt professional life to the evolving dynamics of modern work. Instigated during the COVID-19 pandemic, the project seeks to align the workspace with the realities of hybrid work. Workstations are modular and unassigned, offering flexible usage that adapts to changing schedules and needs of employees. This flexibility allows the workspaces to evolve and reflect contemporary work practices.
The space design fosters engagement and interaction among workers from various departments. It features collaboration and work rooms, lounge areas, and community spaces. Generous circulation areas brimmed with natural light encourage informal gatherings, energizing the environment.
Sustainability-focused, the project aims for carbon neutrality through careful operational planning and long-term building maintenance. Additionally, sourcing materials from selective deconstruction reinforces its environmentally friendly goals.
