900 Saint-Jacques has been named a 2026 Architecture MasterPrize (AMP) winner in the High Rise Buildings category. This international recognition highlights the project's architectural quality and conceptual approach, deeply rooted in Montréal's urban context and built heritage.

Presented annually by an international jury of industry professionals, the Architecture MasterPrize celebrates excellence, creativity, and innovation in architecture, interior design, and landscape architecture. Now in its 11th edition, the awards received entries from 95 countries, reflecting the diversity of practices and perspectives shaping contemporary architecture worldwide.

Located in the heart of Montréal's Quartier des Gares, the 63-storey tower offers an architectural response to the challenges of urban densification and high-rise residential design. Its sculpted precast concrete envelope reinterprets the mineral character of Montréal's built heritage, while its positioning and shared spaces establish a meaningful dialogue with the surrounding urban fabric.

We extend our thanks to the Architecture MasterPrize for this distinction, as well as to our client RIMAP and all project partners and collaborators who contributed to its realization, including Le Groupe Architex and Brian Elsden Burrows.

We would also like to congratulate all fellow winners of the 2026 edition, whose achievements reflect the richness and diversity of architectural practice on an international scale.
